Welcome to our website and let us tell you a little about our friendly WI.

Founded in 1921, we are one of the oldest and largest WIs in West Sussex.

We meet at West Chiltington Village Hall on the second Thursday of each month at 2.15pm and enjoy a varied programme with excellent speakers.

We don’t always sing Jerusalem and we rarely, if ever, make jam.  However we do enjoy getting together and having fun.

Therefore, as well as our monthly meetings, we  have several activity groups which give you a chance to meet fellow members and make new friends in a less formal setting. For further details click on the Activities link above.

We hold regular outings and social events, such as our Summer Tea in June and our Summer Lunch in August.

We also play our part in the life of our community, as our picture shows,  by providing teas at West Chiltington Village Show. Last year we provided tea and cakes at St Mary’s Church Fete.

Whether you are new to the area or just want to make new friends, we would love to meet you. So why not pop along to one of our meetings? We’ll look forward to seeing you!
